White Sox OF Adam Eaton leaves game

CHICAGO (AP) — Adam Eaton left Wednesday’s game against the Texas Rangers in the second inning after running into the right-center field fence at U.S. Cellular field and the White Sox say he has a bruised lower back.

The center fielder was tracking a fly ball that became a two-run homer by Adam Rosales when he appeared to strike the fence with his face or shoulder. He fell to the warning track and got up slowly.

Manager Robin Ventura, a trainer and teammates came out to check on Eaton. He walked off the field and was replaced by Leury Garcia.
