ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Houston Astros outfielder Alex Presley has been put on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right oblique.
The Astros made the move before Tuesday night’s game. Presley got hurt while swinging during an at-bat in the eighth inning of the series opener at Texas on Monday night.
Outfielder Robbie Grossman was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Grossman was in the starting lineup against the Rangers, batting second and playing right field. This is his third stint in the majors this season.
Presley had a homer in Monday night’s win before having to leave in the middle of an at-bat.
