1 injured in machete attack in Md.

LANHAM, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County Police say they’re investigating after a man was attacked with a machete in the parking lot of a grocery store.

Police say it happened Friday just before 7 p.m. That’s when police were called to the parking lot of the Food Lion in the 7500 block of North Point Road in Dundalk. Police say two adult male suspects attacked the man with the machete. Police say the two were arrested and charged with first degree assault and other charges.

Police say the victim suffered a serious injury to his arm but is expected to survive.

Police did not release the identities of the suspects or the victim.
