TOWSON, Md. (AP) — A two-alarm fire broke out at the Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson, but no one was injured.
Baltimore County fire department officials say the fire was reported Wednesday morning. It was contained to the kitchen area of an individual unit but produced heavy smoke in the building.
Some residents evacuated the building during the fire, but officials say there were no mandatory evacuations. No injuries were reported, and no residents were displaced.
