Power restored in Germantown

WASHINGTON – Power has been restored to Potomac Edison customers in Germantown after a large outage Tuesday night.

At it’s highest point, more than 17,000 were without power.

A spokesperson from the company tells WTOP a problem at a sub-station caused a transmission line to go out.
