Pet of the Week: Fuzz

WASHINGTON — Fuzz is a special dog looking for a special home. First of all, this 6-year-old dog has a look all his own.

His Shar Pei heritage is obvious in his face, but his longer ears and bi-color coarse brown fur hint at other, unknown, ancestry.

And while he’s super friendly with every human adult he’s met — wagging his tail and climbing in your lap with his squeaky toy — he’s afraid of children and other dogs.

So Fuzz is looking for an adult home where he can be someone’s well-loved one and only. In return, this sweet boy will give you years of loyalty, affection and canine companionship.

Plus, Fuzz qualifies for the Washington Animal Rescue League’s “Boomers’ Buddies” program, which means the adoption fee for an adopter 50 years or older will be waived. So stop by WARL and meet Fuzz today.
