Ex-church music director sentenced on sex charges

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A former Richmond church music director has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for having a sexual relationship with an underage choir member.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1l1c0cH) reports 28-year- old Bryan Davis cried and hugged family members before being led away in handcuffs following sentencing Tuesday.

Davis was director at the Meadowood Church of God. He was convicted in January of two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four counts of indecent liberties.
