Board confirms Md. health exchange director

BALTIMORE (AP) — The board that oversees the Maryland health exchange has confirmed the executive director for a one-year term.

The board announced the confirmation of Carolyn Quattrocki on Wednesday.

She has been serving as the interim director of the exchange since she was appointed by the board on Dec. 6.

She replaced Rebecca Pearce, who resigned in December as executive director of the exchange following the problem-plagued rollouts of the state’s health exchange website.

She previously served as executive director of the Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform.

Maryland is revamping the state’s health exchange website with technology used by Connecticut.
