GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl.
Anthony Palomino-Coronado of Laurel had been convicted of sexual abuse of a minor to produce child pornography. He was sentenced Monday in federal court in Greenbelt.
According to evidence presented at trial, the child had been reported missing in May 2012 and was found next to Palomino-Coronado’s yard.
Prosecutors say the child had been to Palomino-Coronado’s home several times, where the man had sex with her and took pictures of her unclothed.
