Police say no shooting at Dulles Town Center

WASHINGTON — Update, 3:30 p.m.: Around 1:45 p.m., the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible shooting at the Dulles Town Center in Sterling, Virginia.

According to the office, there was no shooting or gunman seen at the mall. Upon arrival, deputies learned the caller overheard two women talking about a possible shooting and that they had to leave.

The two women could not be located and have not contacted law enforcement. The mall was searched and nothing suspicious was located. The mall remains closed at this time but is expected to open shortly.

Update, 2:45 p.m.: According to the Loudoun County sheriff’s office, there has not been any shooting at the Dulles Town Center.
