Police seek woman in Vienna bank robbery

WASHINGTON – Police are looking for a woman who robbed a Vienna bank on Saturday and who they believe robbed another bank earlier in the week.

The Fairfax County police say that the woman walked into the United Bank on Chain Bridge Road about 11:30 a.m. Saturday and passed the teller a note demanding money. After the teller complied, the woman left.

The woman is described as black; 30 to 35 years old; about 5 feet, 9 inches tall; and 150 to 170 pounds. She was wearing a blonde wig and carrying a Coach purse. Police believe she was also behind a bank robbery in Chantilly on July 15.
