Two men robbed in Fairfax County home invasion

WASHINGTON – Two men were robbed at gunpoint in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County early Wednesday morning, police say.

A 24-year-old Maryland man told Fairfax County police he was asleep in a bedroom at a home in the 3700 block of North Rosser Street when he was awoken by three men who asked for money.

Two of the suspects had handguns.

The suspects took cash, jewelry and electronics.

A 45-year-old Alexandria man was also home at the time. Neither victim was injured.

The suspects were all described as black, between 25 to 30 years old. They ranged in height from 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall and weighed between 160 and 175 pounds.

The victims reported hearing a female voice as the three men were leaving. She was never seen.

Detectives don’t believe the home invasion was a random crime.
