Police looking for car that struck pedestrian in Frederick

WASHINGTON – A woman was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross over Key Parkway in Frederick early Sunday morning and police are looking for the vehicle that didn’t stop.

Frederick Police say the woman was trying to cross around 12:35 a.m.when she was hit in the lower part of her left leg by a car described as a gold Toyota Camry.

Witnesses in the area were not able to provide a tag number but told police the car was last seen turning on Baughman’s Lane from Key Parkway.

The car may have front end damage from the impact.

The woman was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
