WASHINGTON – If there’s one thing that’s certain about the weather — it’s that it will change.
Some early predictions that were calling for major storms and above average snowfall across the Washington region are now changing.
The Farmers’ Almanac has predicted a blizzard for our region in January.
With winter weather closer, National Weather Service science operations officer Steve Zubrick has told the federal government that snow fall will probably be below normal.
“There’s lots of people who speculate that we are going to have four big snowstorms, things like that,” says Zubrick. “It’s just very difficult to say that at this point.”
He adds that temperatures will likely be a bit above average.
