Gas prices are down across D.C. metro region

WASHINGTON – WTOP’s Price at the Pump survey shows the average price of a gallon of regular is $3.37, down 7 cents from last week.

Mid-grade gas dropped 4 cents to $3.58, and premium dropped 4 cents to $3.70.

Diesel is up 3 cents, sitting at $4.04 per gallon.

The average for regular fuel this week is cheapest in the Maryland area, at $3.28, compared to the Virginia average at $3.32 and the District average at $3.50.
