Suns rookie Warren out with broken thumb

PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix Suns rookie forward T.J. Warren has a small crack in a bone in his left thumb.

The Suns said the injury would be treated with a split and rest. The team said there is no timetable for his return.

Warren was the 14th pick overall out of North Carolina State this year. He has averaged five points and 12.2 minutes in preseason games.
