Miami will have Allen, not Andersen in Game 5

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Miami guard Ray Allen will be available in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals, but forward Chris Andersen has been deactivated for the second straight game.

Coach Erik Spoelstra made it official about 45 minutes before tip-off at Indianapolis.

Allen sustained a bruised hip late in Miami’s 102-90 victory Monday night, which gave the Heat a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. He did not participate in the team’s morning shootaround but went through his regular pregame routine. Andersen was diagnosed with a bruised thigh following the Heat’s Game 3 win.

Forward Rashard Lewis will make his second straight start for the Heat. Justin Hamilton also is inactive for Miami.

Indiana deactivated Solomon Hill and Andrew Bynum, who isn’t even with the team.
