After a blissful summer's day on Friday, this weekend will be hard-pressed to match the blue skies and dry air that made yesterday so memorable.  Temperatures and dew points are already higher this morning as winds have shifted to the south.  A disturbance to our north is bringing showers to Pennsylvania and there is a slight risk of scattered storms in our area today.  Under partly cloudy skies, today will see temperatures rise to near 90 -  the seasonable norm is 88 -  with dew points rising into the mid to upper 60s.  Sunday looks to be equally hot, but even more humid and with a greater likelihood of thunderstorms.  The approach of a cold front, which will eventually bring us cooler air and sunnier days by Tuesday, could span some strong storms tomorrow afternoon and evening.  Gusty winds and heavy rain are possible.  Monday will be an unsettled day as well as the front crosses the area.  Thereafter, July will turn meek and mild with the last days of the month being mostly sunny and dry with highs in the low to mid 80s.  So despite nine 90 degree readings this month, there has been no prolonged summer siege in what is statistically the hottest time of the year.  Enjoy your weekend!
