Ricketts’ NFL Sunday Forecast

WASHINGTON — A reinforcing shot of cold air will make its way to the eastern part of the United States tackling temperatures. Winds will be up for most of the games, however, just breezy not quite windy conditions. Once again we are looking at a pretty quiet weather week across the NFL for week seven.

1 p.m. EST

Tennessee Titans at Washington Redskins (FedEx Field): Plenty of sunshine but bundle up! Temperatures are going to be in the mid to upper 50s for the game but with winds out of the northwest at 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph, it will feel much cooler.

Atlanta Falcons at Baltimore Ravens (M&T Bank Stadium): Another breezy one in the Inner Harbor with winds northwest at 10-20 mph and gusts up to possibly 30 mph. Of course, it will feel cool as temperatures are expected to stick around the mid 50s for the game. However, sunshine will be on tap throughout the entire game.

Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars (EverBank Field): Great day for football in Jacksonville as temperatures hover in the mid 80s. There will be all sunshine with winds out of the west around 10 mph.

Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills (Ralph Wilson Stadium): After some shower activity on Saturday, Buffalo clears out nicely on Sunday with chilly temps. Daytime highs will stick in the mid 40s and will remain steady through the game. Winds once again will be out of the west at 10 mph with partly cloudy skies.

Miami Dolphins at Chicago Bears (Solider Field): The Dolphins better bundle up because temperatures are going to be in the low to mid 50s for this game (quite a change from the 90 degree heat index at SunLife). We are looking at partly cloudy skies at kickoff with clouds filling in throughout the game. Winds will be southwest at 10-15 mph.

Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers (Lambeau Field): With a blustery Saturday on tap, conditions in Wisconsin improve on Sunday. There is a very slight chance of showers late in the afternoon but the game should be dry. Clouds will move in through the game turning partly sunny with temperatures in the low 50s.

4:05 p.m.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego (Qualcomm Stadium): Not quite a picture perfect day in San Diego. Mainly because of the cloud cover in place coming off the coast. Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies during the game but still dry. Temperatures will top out in the low 70s with a west wind at 10 mph (some higher gusts possible).

4:25 p.m. EST

Arizona Cardinals at Oakland Raiders (O.cO Stadium): A few peeks of sunshine may come out during the game but we are looking at mainly clouds just outside of San Fran. A light wind will persist with temperatures in the low 70s for the game.

8:30 p.m. EST

San Francisco 49ers at Denver Broncos (Mile High at Sport Authority): A great night for football. Sun will set at 6:17 p.m. in Denver leaving clear skies and light winds. Temperatures will be comfortable, dropping through the 50s during the game.
