Redskins’ Riley, Clark uncertain for Sunday

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden says “there’s a lot of concern” over whether linebacker Perry Riley and safety Ryan Clark will play in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Neither player has practiced this week. Both were listed as questionable on the injury report Friday.

Gruden is more pessimistic about Riley’s chances. Riley sprained the MCL in his left knee in Monday night’s loss to Seattle. Clark is nursing two sprained ankles from the same game.

Grudcen said tight end Jordan Reed is “making great progress” from a pulled left hamstring and might play Sunday. Reed was injured in the season opener.

Reed was limited in practice Friday and is listed as questionable.
