FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons signed veteran free agent safety Charles Godfrey and waived safety Sean Baker.
Godfrey made 75 starts in seven seasons with Carolina. Godfrey, a third-round pick from Iowa in 2008, has 11 interceptions. He played in seven games with one start this season before being released on Oct. 21.
Baker began the season on Atlanta’s practice squad before being signed to the active roster on Sept. 30. He appeared in four games and was not credited with a tackle.
