Raiders activate Hayden, Autry

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have activated cornerback DJ Hayden from the physically unable to perform list and promoted defensive end Denico Autry from the practice squad.

The Raiders also placed defensive end LaMarr Woodley and safety Usama Young on season-ending injured reserve Saturday to make room on the roster.

Hayden has been sidelined since sustaining a stress fracture to his right foot in May. He was finally able to start practice earlier this month and will be available for Sunday’s game in Cleveland.

Hayden was Oakland’s first-round pick in 2013. He played eight games as a rookie with one interception.

Woodley injured his biceps last week, and Young injured his knee.
