ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A Maryland commission is drafting proposed regulations for the state’s medical marijuana law, facing an imminent deadline to wrap up their work Monday. Lawmakers passed a new medical marijuana law this year, because a previous law had stalled.

CHEVY CHASE, Md. (AP) — Longtime lobbyist and Washington insider Thomas Hale Boggs Jr., who for years helped lead the powerful Patton Boggs law firm, has died in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He was 73. Boggs was the son of the late House Majority Leader Rep. Hale Boggs, a Louisiana Democrat.

NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Newark Police are looking for three men who robbed a pizza delivery driver over the weekend. Authorities say the driver gave three masked men his cash when they implied they had a knife.

NEW YORK (AP) — The NFL says three experts in domestic violence will serve as senior advisers to the league. Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to teams Monday announcing that Lisa Friel, Jane Randel and Rita Smith will “help lead and shape the NFL’s policies and programs relating to domestic violence and sexual assault.”
