Cardinals cut kicker Feely, quarterback Lindley

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Kicker Jay Feely and quarterback Ryan Lindley were among the 13 players who have been cut by the Arizona Cardinals.

The 38-year-old Feely is a 13-year NFL veteran and the Cardinals’ kicker for the past four seasons. He lost the job to Chandler Cantanzaro, an undrafted rookie out of Clemson.

Feely missed a 48-yard try in Sunday night’s loss to Cincinnati.

Lindley was the third-string quarterback for Arizona the last two seasons but lost the job to rookie Logan Thomas, a fourth-round pick from Virginia Tech. Lindley started four games as a rookie two years ago.

Also among the players cut by Arizona were tackle Max Starks, linebacker JoJo Dickson, defensive tackle Brandon Sermons, wide receiver Kevin Ozier and running back Damien Thigpen.
