Jaguars sign FB Unga, OT Booth, waive Hall, Ewing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed fullback Harvey Unga and offensive tackle Cody Booth.

The team also waived receiver Chad Hall and waived/injured fullback Bradie Ewing (wrist). If Ewing clears waivers, he will revert to Jacksonville’s injured reserve.

Unga was a seventh-round draft pick by Chicago in the 2010 NFL supplemental draft. The former BYU standout spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve, sat out 2011 and was on Chicago’s practice squad for parts of 2012 and 2013. He has not played in a regular-season game.

Booth signed with Chicago as a rookie free agent in May and was waived two weeks ago. He will provide depth in training camp for Jacksonville, which lost right tackle Austin Pasztor for at least a month with a broken right hand.
