Bears host Giants Thursday night

CHICAGO (AP) – The NFL game Thursday night has the Chicago Bears, losers of two straight, playing host to the winless New York Giants.

To say the least, this is not the kind of start to the season that Giants fans expected. They have been outscored 182-82 in their five losses and have allowed at least 31 points in every game.

The Bears fortunes have dropped after winning their first three games of the season. They have been defeated by the Lions, 40-32, and the Saints, 26-18.

The last time these two teams met was in the 2010 season when the Giants won 17-3. In that game, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was sacked nine times in the first half and left with a concussion.
