WASHINGTON — Standard & Poor’s releases S&P/Case-Shiller index of home prices for April, 9 a.m.; Commerce Department releases new home sales for May, 10 a.m.; The Conference Board releases the Consumer Confidence Index for June, 10 a.m.

BERLIN — Germany’s Ifo institute releases its monthly business confidence index, a key indicator for Europe’s biggest economy.

Walgreen Co. reports quarterly financial results before the market opens.

WEDNESDAY, June 25

WASHINGTON — Commerce Department releases first-quarter gross domestic product, 8:30 a.m.; Commerce Department releases durable goods for May, 8:30 a.m.

Monsanto Co. reports quarterly financial results before the market opens.

THURSDAY, June 26

WASHINGTON — Labor Department releases weekly jobless claims, 8:30 a.m.; Commerce Department releases personal income and spending for May, 8:30 a.m.; Freddie Mac releases weekly mortgage rates, 10 a.m.

Nike Inc. reports quarterly financial results after the market closes.
