WASHINGTON -- Georgetown University Hospital is asking the public for help in identifying a patient hospitalized since March.

The patient, a man believed to be in his 40s, was admitted to the hospital on March 25, 2006, after being found in a cemetery in Montgomery County, Md., the hospital says.

The man suffered a head injury. He does not speak English, but understands Spanish, and is possibly from Honduras.

Alease Johnson, a social worker, says he has no ID, and while he seems to respond to Spanish and some English, communication is a problem.

"He says one word then gets agitated."

The hospital has contacted police, Latino services and embassies without any luck.

Johnson says if friends or family come forward, it may speed the man's recovery.

Anyone with information should contact Johnson at Georgetown University Hospital, 202-444-2326.

Hospital officials say they are not interested in the man's immigration status and will not ask immigration questions.
