ARLINGTON - If there ever was a wonder dog, it's Taz.

Taz is a therapy dog and a blood donor, but the 7 year old Golden Retriever is missing.

NBC4 reports Hollie Bamford survived a serious car crash when her station wagon was hit by a car on Glebe Road Thursday, only to find her dog escaped through a broken window.

The dog has been with her family for 8 years. Bamford and her son have spent countless hours looking for him, even getting the help from dozens of complete strangers.

Taz was last seen wearing a blue collar and blue leash with yellow printing.

He's been spotted around the Glebe Rd area near Columbia Pike, but so far no one has been able to catch him.

If you have any information call 703-960-3082 or 561-324-5162. The family is offering a reward.
