Police searching for missing Md. teen

UPDATE: Mary Catherine O'Gwin was found late Tuesday afternoon in Washington, D.C., safe and unharmed.

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Maryland teenager.

Eighteen year-old Mary Catherine O'Gwin left her home in the 1800 block of Dellabrooke Farm Lane in Brookeville around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 15.

O'Gwin is described as a white female, 5 feet tall, weighing 85 pounds, with brown eyes and collar-length brown hair. She has a Chinese character tattooed on her left wrist. She was last seen wearing a white zip-up sweatshirt, black jeans, and cami-style red shirt.

O'Gwin suffers from depression and it is unknown if she is carrying her medication.

Anyone with any information on O'Gwin's whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police's 4th District at 240-773-5530 or the non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
