Three of the city's incumbent aldermen were voted out of office on Tuesday.
The new Board of Aldermen will include four Democrats and one Republican. The Democrats are Karen Young, Michael O'Connor, Carol Krimm, and Kelly Russel. Also elected was Republican Shelley Aloi.
The results remain unofficial, since absentee ballots must still be counted this week.
Annapolis
In Annapolis, Joshua J. Cohen has the lead over David Cordle and Chris Fox.
Rockville
In Rockville, City Council member Phyllis R. Marcuccio beat incumbent Mayor Susan R. Hoffmann. Marcuccio carried 52 percent of the vote to Hoffmanm's 47 percent.
There were 6,406 votes cast in Rockville. With four council seats up for grabs, the leading vote-getters were John Britton, Piotr "Peter" Gajewski, Bridget Newton and Mark Pierzchala.
Gaithersburg
In Gaithersburg, Mayor Sidney Katz was re-elected. Katz defeated Richard Koch 2,621 votes to 988, according to unofficial results. Two incumbent council members, Henry F. Marraffa, Jr. and Michael Sesma, also were re-elected.
Greenbelt
Voters in Greenbelt elected Emmett Jordan, who is the first African-American to serve on the city council. All the council's incumbents were re-elected.
Bowie
In Bowie, Mayor G. Frederick Robinson won another two-year term over Samuel R. Graham, president of the Bowie Boys and Girls Club. Robinson garnered 1,262 votes to Graham's 163.
Takoma Park
Incumbent Bruce R. Williams will serve a second term after defeating Roger Schlegel in the Takoma Park Mayoral race.
In Takoma's Park's Ward 4, Terry Seamens defeated write-in candidate Eric Mendoza. In Ward 6, Frederick Schultz defeated Navid Nasr-Esfahani. The other ward races were uncontested. Josh Wright, Colleen Clay, Dan Robinson and Reuben Snipper were elected in those uncontested races.

In College Park, Andrew Fellows was elected mayor.
