November 1, 2009 - 12:15pm

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold says the Army Reserve has called up the county's health officer.

Leopold says Edward Van Oeveren will begin service Monday. Leopold said he's grateful for Van Oeveren's service to the United States. Doug Hart will fill in for Oeveren as acting health officer, an assignment he's had before.
