3,000 without electricity in D.C. and Silver Spring

October 15, 2009 - 11:04am
WASHINGTON - More than 3,000 Pepco customers are without electricity in Silver Spring, Md. and Northwest D.C. near Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Pepco says a large power line is not working.

As a result, many traffic lights are out.

Repair crews have been dispatched.

There's no word when power will be restored.
