45 rabbits killed in barn fire

SYKESVILLE, Md. (AP) - Fire officials say 45 show-quality rabbits were killed in a barn fire in Sykesville.

The fire was reported Tuesday morning in the 7700 block of Gaither Road. It caused $180,000 in damage.

The State Fire Marshal's office says the cause of the blaze, which started in the barn's hayloft, is under investigation.
