WASHINGTON – If you’re interesting in making the big bucks, it might be time to consider going back to school. Professionals in scrubs and lab coats have the highest-paying jobs in the country, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
At the bottom is people working in the service industry. Six of the 10 worst-paying jobs include food prep and baristas, reports MSN Money.

- Anesthesiologist: $234,950
- Surgeon: $231,550
- OBGYN: $218,610
- Oral surgeon: $217,380
- Orthodontist: $204,670
Lowest-paying jobs
- Fast-food cook: $18,720
- Food-preparation/ server: $18,790
- Dishwasher: $18,840
- Shampooer: $19,130
- Cafeteria, food concession and coffee shop counter attendant: $19,450
