D.C. filming brings out roller skaters

Dozens of D.C. residents strapped on roller skates Sunday for the chance to become an extra in a skating-themed short comedy film shot in Northwest Washington, The Washington Post reported.

Local filmmaker John Hibey had envisioned about 300 people on Sixth Street NW for a “giant roller skate race” for his Internet comedy series “Friendship Test.”
