Meteorologist Steve Rudin forecasts the weather for ABC 7/WJLA and sister station NewsChannel 8. He is also seen on "Doug Hill's Weather Now," the area's only all local 24-hour weather channel, and provides forecasts for WTOP.

Prior to joining ABC 7/WJLA, Rudin forecasted for the Washington CBS and FOX affiliates. He moved to D.C. just two weeks before the great Blizzard of 1996 from NBC affiliate WMTV in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with an emphasis in Meteorology, attended the University of Michigan for graduate school and completed additional course work in Broadcast Meteorology at Mississippi State University. He was also an American Field Service (AFS) exchange student in Australia.

A native of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Rudin currently resides in the District. He is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association and holds the Television Seal of Approval.
