Core Values

When my boss hired me, he told me I could comment everyday on Washington's biggest radio station about whatever is on my mind. What a deal, huh? What I try to do, however, is to figure out what is on your mind, and comment about that. Sometimes, I chose a topic based on e-mail you send me, which I always appreciate. Oh, and Core Values is my opinion, and nothing more. Sometimes you will agree, other times disagree, and, I hope, occasionally chuckle.

Clinton Yates

As a native of the District, I was a listener of WTOP long before I got the chance to work here. Radio is the original medium that I fell in love with journalistically, and I'm happy to be back on it everyday. You can expect my thoughts on any and everything about the Washington metro area from politics to pop culture. And of course, I love exchanging ideas, so feel free to email me at Let's keep the conversation going.
