Police seek man in Woodbridge sex assault

WASHINGTON — Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman he picked up at a commuter lot Tuesday morning.

The Prince William County police say that a 42-year-old woman from Alexandria was waiting for a bus at the Horner Road Commuter Lot on Prince William Parkway, in Woodbridge, at about 5:30 a.m. A man in approached her in an older-model, white, 4-door Honda sedan and asked her whether she wanted a ride. She got into the car voluntarily, the police say.

As the man drove them north on Interstate 95, the police say, the man exposed himself and sexually assaulted her.

He then dropped the woman off near Exit 160, where she called a friend to pick her up and reported the incident to the police later.

The police are looking for a Hispanic man between 28 and 32 years old; with a thin build; short, dark hair; and a mustache.
