Police seek 3 suspects in possible car-theft ring (Video)

WASHINGTON – Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public’s help in finding three suspects in what they’re describing as an auto theft ring in the area.

The video shows three men pulling vehicles that the sheriff’s office says are stolen into the parking lot of a gas station’s convenience store near Dulles. They enter and exit the store, then switch the vehicles’ license plates, then drive off.

The sheriffs says that two of the cars were stolen from ADESA Auto Auction on Old Ox Road, which has seen several similar thefts in the past few months. Another was stolen in Prince George’s County, they say.

The sheriffs ask anyone with any information regarding the suspects in the video to call 703-777-0475. If you want to stay anonymous, call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information provided to Loudoun Crime Solvers leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
