Police investigate threat at George Mason University (Photos)

WASHINGTON — George Mason University Police are looking for more information about a threat that happened on its Fairfax campus early Thursday morning.

Officials say there was a threat at the Art and Design Building on the Fairfax Campus, according to a release on the school’s website. The threat investigation at the Art and Design Building concluded, by about 8:15 a.m. and the building was deemed safe, and is now open.

Classes in the Art and Design Building beginning at 9 a.m. or later will be held as scheduled. All other classes and events on university campuses will be held as scheduled.
