More than 20 men charged in Fairfax County prostitution sting

WASHINGTON – Twenty-three men have been arrested and charged with soliciting prostitutes in a Fairfax County sting.

Police say the Aug. 15 operation involved officers going undercover, communicating with the alleged would-be johns online and then meeting men at four different hotels.

Arrests occurred in Springfield, Falls Church, Herndon and the Tysons Corner area. Police say the sting stemmed in part from citizen concerns.
