1 dead, 2 hurt after domestic incident in Chantilly

WASHINGTON – Police say a 20-year-old suspect fatally stabbed his brother in the upper body, then stabbed a 61-year-old family member who tried to intervene.

The suspect then shot himself in the upper body, according to a Fairfax County police news release.

The second stabbing victim fled downstairs and escaped. He remains in the hospital recovering from his injuries.

The 24-year-old victim, Haseeb Raza, 24, of Chantilly, Va., died of his injuries.

The suspect, whom police have not identified, is being treated for life- threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police report that one man has died following a stabbing in Chantilly.

Police say at least two of the men at a home in the 4100 block of Travers Court were stabbed during a domestic dispute. Police were called to the home about 11:20 a.m.

One man remained in surgery Tuesday afternoon. A third man was also injured but there was no word on his condition.

WASHINGTON – Three men are in the hospital after what police say was a domestic incident at a home in Chantilly, Va.

Fairfax County police say they don’t know how the men were wounded.

Two children, who were unharmed, have been removed from the house in the 4100 block of Travers Court.

The condition of the three men is not clear at this point.
