Two Fairfax Co. hospital ATMs hit with skimmers

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police are warning those who may have used the ATM machines at the gift shop at Inova Fairfax Hospital Cardio Care Center in Fairfax or near the cafeteria at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Falls Church to check their bank statements.

Fairfax County police say skimmers, designed to steal bank account numbers, were attached to both machines.

A hospital worker noticed the device at the Fairfax location on Tuesday and reported it.

A second device was found Wednesday at the Falls Church location.
