WASHINGTON — An Arlington hospital employee was charged with raping a patient at Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington County police said Monday.

Roy Anthony Jones, 30, a CT scan technician at the hospital, was taken into custody and charged by the Arlington County Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit after they say he raped a 37-year-old woman early morning on Jan. 13.

The victim was a patient at the hospital at the time of the attack. She reported the incident to the police following the attack.

Police say the staff at Virginia Hospital Center cooperated with detectives throughout the investigation.
