Continental Realty buys Alexandria apartments

Baltimore-based Continental Realty Acquisitions has purchased the Parkwood Court apartment complex in Alexandria for $23 million. The 189-unit comlex is near Mark Center, which will get more than 6,000 jobs as part of the military’s base realignment process.

CBRE Group Inc. represented the seller, CRS Alexandria Corp. Continental Realty plans a major renovation of the property.
