Poehler tour will include Seth Meyers interview

NEW YORK (AP) — Amy Poehler will have some celebrity friends and her high school English teacher on hand for her upcoming book tour.

HarperCollins Publishers imprint Dey Street Books said Monday the star of “Parks and Recreation” has four appearances planned to promote her memoir “Yes Please.”

After an Oct. 27 reading at Barnes & Noble in New York City’s Union Square, Poehler will speak with former “Saturday Night Live” colleague Seth Meyers uptown at the 92nd Street Y on Oct. 28, the day the book comes out. Norman Lear will join her at the University of California, Los Angeles on Nov. 8. Poehler will chat with her former teacher Kathy Dalton at Boston’s Back Bay Events Center on Oct. 29.
