Weekly Crime Report: Oct. 21 to Oct. 30

Police say someone broke into local Italian deli favorite Vace and made off with some property:

A commercial burglary occurred at Vace Italian Deli, 4705 Miller Avenue in Bethesda on Saturday, 10/26 at approximately 4:30 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

There were a number of other commercial burglaries around town. The rest of the most recent Bethesda area crime summary follows:

A commercial burglary occurred at Hatcher Group, 4340 East West Highway in Bethesda overnight between Thursday, 10/24 and Friday, 10/25. Unknown entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Radio Shack, 8125 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda on Sunday, 10/27 at 9:35 p.m. Forced entry; damage done, nothing taken.

A theft occurred at Bausum Duckett, 4800 Auburn Avenue in Bethesda sometime between Friday, 10/25 and Saturday, 10/26. Property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Citgo, 8505 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase on Wednesday, 10/23 between midnight and 1:00 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred in the 10800 block of Hampton Mill Terrace in North Bethesda on Sunday, 10/27 between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Two had been left unlocked and one involved forced entry. Loose items inside were taken.

A theft from vehicle occurred in the 4900 block of Cloister Drive in Rockville on Tuesday, 10/29 between 12:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Forced entry; vehicle parts taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Stanley Slater located at 5530 Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase sometime between Wednesday, 10/23 and Friday, 10/25. Forced entry; nothing taken.
