Vegan Advocates Protest Chicken Farm — Bethesda-based nonprofit Farm Animal Rights Movement is against the use of animals for food. On Wednesday, a few members took to Perdue Farms in Salisbury, headquarters of the chicken processing company, to protest any animal having “its life or death decided by people.” Perdue says it treats its chickens humanely.
