Weekly Crime Report: May 24 to July 2

The most recent Bethesda area crime summary includes a night-time robbery along Wisconsin Avenue’s “Green Mile,” and a church burglary:

A robbery occurred at the intersection of Hunt Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda on Saturday, 6/29 at approximately 10:45 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M, 25-30, 5’8”-5’9”/160-180 lbs

A commercial burglary occurred at St. Dunstan’s Church, 5450 Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda on Wednesday, 6/26 at approximately 9:45 a.m. No further details are available at this time.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3100 block of Brooklawn Terrace in Chevy Chase sometime between Friday, 6/28 and Sunday, 6/30. Unknown entry; nothing taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Subway, 7201 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda on Wednesday, 6/26 at approximately 1:25 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3600 block of Saul Road in Kensington on Thursday, 6/27 between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Security Public Storage, 5223 River Road in Bethesda sometime between Friday, 6/28 and Saturday, 6/29. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A community burglary occurred at the Seven Locks Pool, 9929 Seven Locks Road in Bethesda, sometime overnight between Wednesday, 6/26 and Thursday, 6/27. Forced entry; property taken.

A theft occurred in the 7100 block of Democracy Boulevard in Potomac on Sunday, 6/30 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The suspects removed property from the victim.

Suspects: B/M, 35-45, 5’8”-6’/250-275 lbs.; B/F, 35-45, 5’6”-5’8”/275-300 lbs.
